About the California Journalism Education Awards
Beginning in 2026, the California Journalism Education Awards will be administered through the Journalism Education Collaborative (JOUR•Ed), the California Press Foundation’s statewide collaborative for journalism educators and students. This transition ensures that recognition of teaching excellence is fully integrated into the educator community. Honorees are recognized at the California Press Foundation’s annual journalism symposium.
